The School
Barbering Course
With perfect attendance, our full-time students may complete all graduation requirements of our 1200-hour course in 8 months (32 academic weeks). At the completion of 1200 hours of training, those full and part time students who have completed all other school requirements, having a passing grade of at least 70%, are given a Certificate and become certified to be examined by Kansas State Board of Barbering for the license to practice barbering.
After passing the basic license written and practical test, a license will be issued and the barber will be required to follow the Kansas State Board of Barbering rules and regulations to continue as a license barber in the state of Kansas. It is possible to move on to other areas such as an instructor and/or barbershop manager/owner. Some people may even choose to manufacture their own line of products.
For the convenience of our students we offer both part time and full-time courses during the day.
The school schedule is as follows:
FULL TIME: 30 hours or more per week.
