Admission Policy
Admission Requirements:
- Must provide school current and valid Government ID (i.e., driver’s license, passport, birth certificate, etc.) and documentation of tuberculosis exam
- Must provide the school completed high school or its equivalent as evidenced by any of the items on the following non-exhaustive list: copy of diploma, copy of GED certificate, copy of a transcript showing high school completion, or a certificate of attainment (only applicable to non-Title IV recipients), etc.; or
- Must provide the school evidence of completion of state-approved home school diploma of high school equivalency; or
- Must provide evidence that verification of a foreign student’s high school diploma has been performed by an outside agency that is qualified to translate documents into English and confirm the academic equivalence to a U.S. high school diploma. For foreign high school diplomas, the education credential must have been evaluated by an outside agency that is qualified to translate documents into English and confirm the academic equivalence to a U.S. high school diploma
Transfer Hours / Credit for Previous Training
Transfer hours from another institution that are accepted toward the students educational program are counted as both attempted and completed hours for the purpose of determining when the allowable maximum time-frame has been exhausted. SAP evaluation periods are based on actual contracted hours at the institution.
The School has the right to refuse hours completed at a previous school. Students that transfers from a School will have their permit cards and record of hours sent to the State Board governing the previous school. This school does not recruit students from any other school. Students must submit a certificate from a Kansas licensed physician, showing that he or she is free from any contagious, infectious or communicable diseases.
Enrollment Process
Information for Approval Process:
- Application along with $100.00 non-refundable fee.
- Copy of Driver’s License or Picture ID.
- Copy of High School Diploma or GED. (If you do not have a High School Diploma or GED you have to provide proof of a Ninth grade Education, high school transcript or DD214).
- Application fee for the Kansas Board of Barbering ($55 check made out to: Kansas Board of Barbering).
Negative TB (Tuberculosis Test) results. - If paying monthly payments, a down payment is required.
**Once we receive your permit from the Kansas Barber Board you will be contacted by our Admission Manager to give you a start day.
